Farewell to our Education Admin and Hello to our new SICA staff 2022
SICA has seen a few changes this year and we would like to say farewell to our Education Administrative Assistant and introduce the Team for 2022. |
|||||
Grich De Vera joined the SICA Team in May 2020 as the Education Administrative Assistant. She had moved to Kelowna along with her daughter from Dubai in 2018. When asked what success meant to Grich she answered, “To feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day.” She was very personable, highly skilled and organized like nobody’s business; Grich was all about making the most of her day!
We celebrated Grich on her last day with some Sushi and a song! Grich always went above and beyond her role and responsibilities; Pihl Law is very lucky to have her! As we say goodbye to Grich, SICA and the Education Team would like to welcome Trinh Son to the Education Administrative Assistant position.
Trinh Son Trinh had more than 20+ years engaging in the non-profit industry in Vietnam, working with the disadvantaged/marginalized communities on education, health care, construction, and community development projects. Trinh and her husband moved to Kelowna from Vietnam in 2020 to be with their daughter who was studying at UBCO. We are very excited to have Trinh join the education team and look forward to getting to know her better. If the past few weeks are any indication…she is going to fit right in and become a huge asset! |
