Industry Awards of Excellence
The SICA Team would like to express our gratitude to all of those individuals and companies that helped make the Industry Awards of Excellence a success!
These awards recognize industrial, commercial, and institutional projects within the southern interior of BC. In addition to the project awards, finalists are also recognized in several Leadership Awards categories.
For the 2021/2022 year, finalists were selected in the Building Awards and Leadership Awards categories. Building Awards categories recognize various project types; this year, the Trade Excellence category permits Trade Contractors to nominate their work on a project, rather than the project overall. This allows the Trade Excellence Award to recognize the many unique details that makeup construction projects as a whole.
All of the finalists were recognized at the Awards dinner, where the winners were presented with a trophy. In addition to the Building and Leadership Award categories, SThere was a presentation made for the Owner Consultant Award, this award recognizes the construction owners and or consultants that have played an active role in supporting the industry. Finally, the Member of the Year Award, this award is given to an individual who, through their actions over an extended period of time, contributed in a manner beyond the expectation of daily business.
