A Perfect Day on the Greens: Thank You to Our Incredible Players and Sponsors!

What an epic day it was! SICA pulled off not one, but two awesome tournaments on the Bear and The Quail courses at the Okanagan Golf Club. The weather was picture-perfect, with a bright blue sky, a soft breeze, and the sun shining like a champion. The fairways were pristine, and the camaraderie on the course was off the charts. We couldn't have asked for a better day for our Summer SICA Golf Tournament—a massive thank you to every one of you for making it a smash hit.

First up, a huge shoutout to our fantastic players. Your love for the game, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm turned the tournament into an unforgettable experience. Your energy and spirit are what make this event so special, and we hope you had a blast on the course. As they say, "Golf is a lot like life. It's not always easy, but it's always worth it."

To our amazing sponsors, you are the real MVPs of this tournament. Your support, contributions to our prize pool, and awesomeness made this day possible. We truly appreciate your investment in our community and the construction industry. Many players raved about how interactive and entertaining our Hole Sponsors were, making the day even more fun.

This year, part of the ticket purchase allowed SICA to donate $1340 to both the Central Okanagan Food Bank and the Howard Strong Scholarship.

A big thank you to our volunteers who helped to keep registration running smoothly. It was another stellar year, and the top-notch customer service at Okanagan Golf Resort made organizing this big event a breeze.

SICA rocked Bear Hole #8 at our sold-out golf tournament with the help of Stephen from Employee Benefits Trust. Mika from the Tailgate Toolkit rode the course with Diane Jolicoeur from Builder’s Code to spread awareness about harm reduction and the importance of Construction Worker health.
