Communication, Negotiation, and Conflict Resolution (CNCR)

This course has been designed to help improve the written, oral, and negotiating skills of estimators, superintendents, and project managers who must deal effectively and professionally with employees, sub-trades, owners, clients, engineers, and their employers. 

Course Content:

  • Define a conflict and Identify the stages of conflict
  • Appreciate the importance of communication
  • Apply assertiveness techniques to get a point across
  • Deal with difficult people more effectively
  • Recognize what makes an effective negotiator
  • Understand how power can be used or abused in negotiation
  • Determine when to close negotiations

This course uses interactive elements, scenarios, videos, and quizzes to reinforce learning.

This course has been accredited by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).  It is available in both English and French and ​will work on all major browsers and multiple devices including: tablets, IPads and smart phones.

Duration:  4 hours | $150.00 +GST
